The money was donated to the Humane Society International (HSI) and his donation will mean that more than 200 dogs and puppies will now be safe from being killed and harvested for food.

“Simon Cowell has generously donated £25,000 ($32,575) to our rescue campaign to help us shut down the 13th dog meat farm in South Korea and save more than 200 dogs! We are so grateful to Simon…this means a lot to us!” writes the organization on Twitter .

This is not the first time Simon has taken a stand against the dog meat industry, as he has repeatedly expressed his disgust at the practice, publicly backing the #EndDogMeat campaign and opposing a dog eating festival in Yulin, China.
