Aia, who did not reveal her first name, says she was out jogging when a man flashed her and tried to run away.

The 6ft 1in former military member, however, was in no mood to let him do so.

She told NBC Boston: “I told him I’m going to get him. ‘I’m going to get you, darling’.

“It was not his lucky day. Because I decided to chase him down.”

And chase him down she did. In fact, Aia tackled the offender to the floor and held him there for a few minutes while she called for help. Unfortunately, no one came to her aid, and the man managed to get away.

“Where I come from and how I grew up, we don’t just walk by,” she continued.

“We don’t just ignore it, because I have a daughter and it could be my daughter next to him and she’s not going to be that.

“If you want to call it bravery for what I did, yeah, it’s for the ones after me.”

Meanwhile, the Massachusetts State Police have issued the following statement: “The man resisted the woman’s attempt to detain him and fled the area, last seen running down Amesbury Street.”

Aia herself has absolutely no regrets about running the man down.

“Hell no … I was not ready to see his little [expletive]. I’m not doing that no. Just no. It’s not right.”

The suspect is described as a white male of heavy build, with short dark colored hair, a receding hair line, wearing black and white running clothes and black running shoes with white soles.

People like this man have no place in society unless they’re willing to change their ways and become respectable human beings.
