The hilariously awkward headline by the Post-Journal read “Julia Roberts finds life and her holes get better with age.”
Now, as writers and editors we all make mistakes but this one was so huge it thrust the local newspaper in Jamestown, upstate New York, into the limelight for all the wrong reasons.
The story that followed the rather embarrassing headline was from Associated Press, praising the Academy Award-winning actress for her performances in the new movie Ben Is Back as well as the Amazon series ‘Homecoming.’
Unfortunately the amazing roles she is finding, away from the romantic comedies she is best known for, came across in a very different light in this particular article.
Although the newspaper published a correction, the headline had already gone viral on social media with hundreds commenting on the glaring error. There was no shortage of jokes in response, reports Bored Panda.
