Lauren Duggar reveals she suffered miscarriage in heartbreaking new interview

Lauren Duggar and partner Joshia, married less than a year, have revealed the devastating blow dealt when they had a miscarriage.

It wasn’t long after the pair tied the not that people began to speculate over whether they would soon be welcoming a baby to the world.

In a sneak peak look at the new season of Counting On, however, they opened up on a tragedy that befell them just last October …

Just four months into their marriage Lauren and Josh were rocked by the news that she had miscarried.

As Joshia explains in the preview – available to watch here: “Lauren and I were actually preparing for a trip to go to a friend’s wedding. She started feeling really sick and started noticing some different things.”

Lauren has since admitted she knew something was wrong.

“I was cramping really, really bad,” she said. “Which was quite strange because I normally don’t. I was thinking maybe I had something that had gluten in it. It was late at night and I went to use the restroom and there was the baby. Gone. I couldn’t believe it and I was hoping it wasn’t true.”

The loss has been a difficult one to swallow for the couple, particularly as they’d started to plan for life with a third member in their little family.

“And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes,” Josiah explained.

Not alone

Now, the couple are going on record with their grief so as to attempt to help others facing the same issues.

“We just wanted to let y’all know that you’re not alone,” Lauren told fans.

Our thoughts go out to Lauren and Josiah, as well as their families and friends.
