The incomparable Michael Jackson is remembered for a lot of things. His mysterious personal life may come to mind, but first and foremost, he was a performer. His singing talent, but particularly his dancing abilities, both contributed to his rise to superstardom and the well-deserved nickname, “The King of Pop”.
Michael Jackson wore many iconic looks over the years, usually associated with a time period in his career, or the release of a particular album. Each outfit gave a nod to his signature style but had a unique, memorable impact. We all remember the red and black leather jacket from the “Thriller” video, but it is the sharp black and white ensemble from “Billie Jean” that stands out most in my mind.
Practically anyone can dress up like Michael Jackson in one of his signature looks, but it takes someone truly special to match up to him in talent. One teen has shown that not only can he wear the suit, he can dance like “The King of Pop”.
Brett Nichols had signed up to perform in his school’s talent show. He attends a large high school, and on the day of the show, the bleachers were packed with students eager to see their fellow classmates perform.
Brett is just a teenager, and although he looks a bit shy when he steps out on the floor, he is hiding something underneath that humble persona.
When Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” starts, he shocks everyone in the audience with his imitation of the great idol.
Brett is an amazingly talented dancer and he perfectly performs the complicated dance routine. Just wait until he does Michael’s classic moonwalk!
Brett has been featured on television several times and has also traveled the world and performed with a Michael Jackson cover band.
This young man has really found his true calling.
Michael Jackson may have passed away, but he will always be left in our memories.
