We’ve seen many times that we are all capable of performing random acts of kindness for strangers.
But the story you’re about to read below is a little different from all the others.
It’s about a blind man named Jerry – and how a security guard abandoned his daily tasks to help a human in need.
During a visit to the hairdresser, a woman named Tina saw something strange.
Out of the corner of her eye she caught sight of a blind man with a cane, who walked to the door and sat down on a bench just outside.

Tina wondered if the man was OK, but soon afterwards, she saw a security guard walk up to him. The guard sat next to the man, and loudly yelled “HI, JERRY” in his ear. It turned out that the man on the bench was not only blind. He also had bad hearing.
Inside the hair salon, Tina had no idea what the security guard was up to, but it would soon become clear that Jerry and the guard’s relationship was stronger than she could ever imagine.
The security guard stood up with Jerry by his side and started helping him across the road.
Tina soon learned that the nearby stores all helped Jerry to get around in the area. The guard helped him get to the grocery store, while a person in another store helped him to get home.
Tina had her phone nearby and managed to catch the security guard’s kind gesture on camera. She was moved by the incredible kindness she had seen and decided to post the video on Facebook.
