One of the most beautiful moments for any parent is to hearing their baby say his or her first words. And whether it takes 12 months or 18, there’s nothing like hearing your toddler say “mamma” or “dadda” for the first time. I’m sure it catches just about every parent off guard.
First, there’s that “did she just say ‘mama’?” moment, followed quickly by “Oh, my god! Our baby just said her first words!”
But the dad in the video clip below had even more reason to be surprised when he heard his little one say his first words. I couldn’t believe it either at first when I watched it, but this baby is unlike any other 3-month-old I’ve seen.
The dad is playing with his baby, making classic “ga-ga-goo-goo”-style noise and giving his little sweetheart kisses. Then dad says, “I love you”… and it happens. But this extremely precocious baby didn’t just babble out “mamma” or “dadda.”
