Doctor orders mom to look closer at ultrasound – sees twins having ‘first fight’ in the womb

During pregnancy, prospective parents can expect a lot of trips to the hospital.

After all, there are a lot of things to plan and prepare for, not to mention the innumerable tests carried out to ensure the continued health and safety of the baby.

Of all the scans and check-ups, though, it’s undoubtedly the ultrasound that springs to mind first. The first visible picture of your little one is something you never forget. It’s both fascinating and extremely powerful at the same time.

With the aid of sound waves, an ultrasound gives parents a moving image of the fetus while it’s inside the mother’s belly. Of course, this translates to a very cool experience …

Ultrasound

In this particular case, one ultrasound gave a set of parents a little bit more than they were perhaps expecting, according to the Daily Mail.

Both mom and dad had arrived at the hospital to see their twins, and were excited to receive an update as to how they were progressing. As usual, mom was asked to lie down on a bed while the doctor rubbed gel on her stomach.

When the actual ultrasound began, however, the parents – of the city of Yinchuan, China – were met with an entertaining surprise.

Eventful clip

In the clip in question, the two identical twins show up instantly. It’s a wonderful moment for any parent, to get confirmation that their unborn kids are doing well. When they were told to look a little closer, however, they spotted something unusual.

The father, 28-year-old Mr. Tao, filmed the whole thing, telling Chinese source The Paper that it was fun to see their daughters “fighting with each other for a few moments” while still in their mom’s belly!

The images have quickly gone viral, and it’s not difficult to see why. The siblings can’t keep away from each other, even before they’re completely aware of what life is! What a joy it will be when they come into the world.
