On Sept. 24, a loss prevention officer at a Walmart in Fort Worth, Texas, stopped what is believed to be a possible kidnapping incident, The Star-Telegram reported.
According to a report from a police officer, a man and a woman were caught trying to take a 4-year-old girl out of the shopping cart after her mom looked away for a second.

When the loss prevention officer confronted the couple, the pair left the store and drove away in a red SUV.
The child was not injured, and police are still investigating the incident.
Even great parents can't turn their backs for a millisecond. That loss prevention officer was on point. Thanks!

It’s hard to know where to start in trying to teach a four-year-old how to defend themselves if someone tries to take them.
But you can teach your child that if someone is trying to take them all manners go out of the window and they must scream, yell, kick, or put up any kind of fight.
Thank goodness for the loss prevention officer being there to stop these two people. Even the best parents can’t keep their eyes on their child all of the time.
