Our first love comes and goes in the blink of an eye but at the time it seems like it’s the most important thing in the world.
But it can be hard for a dad to accept that his daughter is all grown up and dating. It’s a difficult time and often one doesn’t know what to say to the other.
But what about if that daughter is just three years old and announces that she has a boyfriend?
Well this 3-year-old is not messing around when she confidently tells her daddy she has a love interest. His wonderful response has gone viral.
When I got a little older and started middle school, boys became somewhat of a fascination for me.
Then suddenly what I looked like to go to school seemed the most important thing. It seems so frivolous now but at the time it was all so very important.
It was such a wonderful time; an age of innocence, until my heart actually got broken. Thankfully I recovered quickly and today all is forgiven.
But the little girl you’re about to see in the video has developed an interest in the opposite sex far younger than I did. She’s just three years old when she makes the announcement to her father.
With the sounds of another child giggling in the background she announces, with a very straight face, that she has a boyfriend
“Oh no you do not,” replies the dad.
“Oh yes I do,” the little girl asserts.
“That boy better be talking to your daddy,” her father advises.
