It’s not often you hear such high praise from music guru Simon Cowell but in this instance he was left practically speechless by a performance on America’s Got Talent.
Laura Bretan left everyone shocked by her operatic voice which was so mature for one so young. The Romanian-American from Chicago told the audience that she really didn’t know where her voice came from.
Laura, who grew up with big names like Pavarotti and Domingo, embraced their style early on and started singing opera herself – discovering that she had quite the natural talent.
In the case of America’s Got Talent Season 11 everyone else thought so to and she sung her way to the final.
The clip below is from the final when Laura sang a song that never fails to give me goosebumps. Her performance was so perfect, her presence on stage captivating and not forgetting her absolutely amazing dress!
In one of her earlier performances on the show, judge Mel B pressed her golden buzzer, sending her all the way to the quarter finals.
It’s no surprise that her performance received a standing ovation to squeals and shouts from the audience. This talented young singer not only made it to the America’s Got Talent finals but she also won Romania’s Got Talent. She really is quite something.
And did I mention that this star in the making was just 14 years old when she sang this?!
