
I love all things vintage. Perhaps it’s the sense of history that beautiful old things have. Or maybe its my appreciation for designs that still resonate with me decades after they were made. But what’s for sure is that I like classic things with plenty of soul. They’re so charming and compelling.
Of all vintage things though, nothing has impressed as much as this gem I recently discovered. It’s not a jacket or a pair of boots, but a house — an entire house to be exact. Its owners kept it intact and meticulously maintained it for more than seven decades.
News about the untouched house spread when its 96-year-old owners finally decided to sell it after 72 years. A real estate agent assigned to the house stepped inside and was taken aback by what she found.
Step inside. Whether you love vintage things or not, this house is sure to blow you away.
From its gorgeous entrance to the backyard, this home in Toronto, Canada is quite literally a perfectly preserved time capsule from the 1950s.
