Most of us love reading about the royal family and what they’re getting up to. What seems to appeal most of all is when they show us that they’re just normal human beings.
Certainly, they have a mission beyond the ordinary, but at the end of the day their human instincts are the same as your average person.
For the much-loved and very cheeky Prince Harry he showed this side at an event supporting his new wife Meghan Markle. But he didn’t realize the cameras were on him at the time; his expression when he notices he’s been caught out is priceless.
Prince Harry’s wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was launching her new charity cookbook “Together: Our Community Cookbook.” The book is a collection of recipes written by women who lost their homes in the Grenfell Tower fire in London in June 2017.
“Stealing samosas”
In a very entertaining video Prince Harry is caught on camera sneaking away from the event with some samosas behind his back.
TV channel ITV’s royal editor Chris Ship notes that the prince is picking up some of the fried pastries as he hurries to catch up with his wife. Then the hungry princes is caught hiding them behind his back.
“I could be wrong but I reckon we’ve caught Prince Harry red handed stealing some samosas,” Chris writes on Twitter, where he has also posted the video clip, which quickly spread across the net.
What’s wonderful is when the prince realizes he’s been caught and gives the camera the biggest grin.
See for yourself in the video below.
