I’ve always been an animal person and worry about the many furry friends out on the street with no one to take care of them.
I find it hard to pass a dog without stopping the owner and asking if I can pet their lovable fur ball.
But not everyone has the same love for animals and don’t want pets, which I can understand as you have to be an animal lover to commit to a pet.
But to feel so much hatred for animals that they have a need to hurt them is incomprehensible to me.
In April 2017, two garbage men made a terrible discovery while on their rounds in Pennsylvania.
They had just thrown a pile of trash into the garbage truck and pressed the button for it to be crushed when they heard a scream.
Fortunately, they managed to get the bag out out before it was crushed.
They quickly opened it and discovered a gray cat tied up and completely covered in gasoline.
The cat was rushed to the nearest animal hospital. The vet realized how bad the cat’s condition was and immediately started working to save her.
She was dehydrated, malnourished and was one of the worst cases of neglect the vet had seen.
Miracle Maisy
It was a while before the smell of gasoline left her but with nourishment, love and attention she began to regain her strength.
She was named Miracle Maisy because it was a true miracle that she survived.
