Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become parents of a little boy.
Now, the dad tells the prince new details about the name choice.
“I’m overjoyed,” says Harry.
The clock was around 3:40 on Monday when the world heard the good news: Meghan Markle had given birth to a healthy boy of 7lbs 3oz! Britain’s new prince, also Harry and Meghan’s firstborn, saw the light of day in the morning and later in the day, the British court confirmed the glorious news.
A little later in the afternoon, Prince Harry, son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, held a press briefing in Windsor.
He took the opportunity to pay tribute to his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, and you could clearly see how proud he was in the moment.
“It was the most amazing experience I have ever experienced. I am so proud of my wife and we are both so happy and grateful for all the love we have received,” Prince Harry said at the press conference, among other things.
Harry’s message about the name issue
The prince was also asked whether the couple had decided on a name. Harry answered:
“We’re still thinking of names. The child came a little later than expected so we had some extra time to think about it. So … yes … It’s the next thing. I think we’ll meet you (in the press, reds note) about probably two days as planned as a family to show you and so everyone can see the baby,” Harry said on Monday with a big smile.
Which in that case would mean that the new royal baby could make his first appearance to the world in the middle of this week!

The name of Harry and Meghan’s firstborn has been under constant speculation since it was revealed that Meghan was pregnant. Before it was known whether the couple was expecting a prince or princess, there were many names high on the list. We have previously mentioned that names like Diana, Arthur, and Alice topped the lists.
Now that we know the couple had a boy, names like Arthur, Edward, James, Oliver, and Henry are mentioned in the speculation.
ITV reports on Tuesday that the names Alexander, James, and Arthur are top of the list right now.
Prince Harry is “over the moon”
Prince Harry explains that he is happy.
“As every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is to die for.”
“I’m just over the moon,” Harry concludes.
