Florida guitarist Frank Maglio knows how to bring out his inner rock star, especially when he’s playing for his feathered friend, Tico the parrot. But it’s what happens next that leaves everyone stunned — because Tico can sing along!
It’s no secret that parrots love to talk and mimic sounds, but few people know that some of them are bona fide rock stars. And when it comes to Tico, this little performer takes on classic rock hits like there’s no tomorrow.
A few years ago, Frank and Tico even showcased their talents on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Frank explained that Tico started off by squawking whenever he played guitar. At first, Frank thought his feathery buddy was just trying to get some attention. But soon enough, Frank sat beside the birdcage and played a few songs, and to his surprise, Tico joined in and started singing along.
Since that day, Tico has belted out countless rock anthems, earning praise on his YouTube channel for his unique vocal talents.
Just a few weeks ago, Frank strummed the famous intro to The Clash’s “Should I Stay or Should I Go,” and Tico was ready, jumping right in with perfect timing.
In the video, Tico whistles, warbles, and belts out notes like a true rock star. His talent has fans going wild.
Tico Takes the Internet by Storm The video has racked up thousands of views, and the comments are filled with enthusiastic praise.

“This is an absolute masterpiece. I’m laughing so hard, tears are streaming down my face… the best thing ever,” added another.
Tico’s repertoire doesn’t stop with The Clash. He’s also taken on songs like Guns N’ Roses’ Patience and Bon Jovi’s Wanted Dead or Alive. He even has a soft spot for tunes by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and U2.
