It’s rare that I lose my temper. Except, of course, when I’m not fed … then I have good grounds to get angry.
That’s perhaps why I can relate to this poor cat. She walks out onto the balcony, expecting to find her food bowl waiting for her as usual.
However, once there, she’s greeted by a rather unexpected surprise. This time she’s not the only one vying to get a few bites of food. Despite the fact that the bowl is on her balcony, there’s a possum already chowing down.
Knowing full well that he was probably about to witness comedy gold, the owner picked up his mobile phone and began to take photos. Now, the snaps he captured have been spreading like wildfire on the internet. They’ve been made famous by Imgur and user MrRogers47, and it’s not difficult to see why.
It goes without saying that the possum was an uninvited guest, but the cat’s owner was too intrigued to scare it away. Instead, he decided to capture the moment(s) instead; a decision that looks to have paid dividends.
You can literally see the cat’s shock, and just how outraged she is at the invader. She does her best to convince the human to save her food – sadly, it’s to no avail.
I think it’s safe to say the possum takes this round.

“Do you feel good about your mistake? You’ve given my food to this SCROUNGER”
“Are you being serious right now? You’re going to stand there and take pictures? I’m starving here! OK … I’ll do it myself …

“Right … Have it your way … Enjoy your meal!”
“DAAAAAAAAAAAAD”
