Mom is called “disgusting” when she breastfeeds in public – answers with an open letter that silence everyone

There always have been and always will be those who object to mothers breastfeeding their babies in public. Some people even let moms know how they feel directly — and they can be really brutal.

When new mom Whitney Huntwork was criticized and called “disgusting” one time too many for breastfeeding publicly, she had had enough. She sat down and wrote an open letter on behalf of breastfeeding moms everywhere. But she had no idea her letter would be shared by thousands on Facebook. And when you read it, you’ll understand why.

Whitney posted this photo along with her message to all of her critics.

Here’s Whitney’s Facebook post in full:

“Anytime. Anywhere. You can stare, I don’t care. I’ll feed my hungry child, here or there, if you don’t like my boob I still don’t care. A Restaurant? A store? It’s boob juice galore! A theater? A museum? But your more focused on trying to see them!

Bottle or boob Its all just food. You still think I should cover? You should run and tell your mother. Pull out your phone and take a picture? But I’m the one who’s the problem? Don’t you wish we could all mind our business? That would sure solve them! Think I am disgusting? I could say the same? Think I am playing an attention seeking game? You are wrong because you see, really I am only worried about the comfort of my baby and me!”

Sincerely Whitney, the badass breastfeeder & her badass son fueled by purely boob juice.”

Whitney wanted to write on Facebook so a lot of people could see it and understand her side. And it really worked because her post was shared more than 145,000 times.

Thanks to her letter, Whitney managed to silence many of her critics. Please share if you also think that more people who criticize breastfeeding mothers should see this.
