Seeing animals suffering or in trouble has always broken my heart. They’re so helpless and innocent and depend on us for so much.
Animal Aid Unlimited saves animals through street animal rescue, spay/neuter and education.
Their mission is dedicated ”to the day when all living beings are treated with compassion and love”.
Not long ago, the organization received a distressing call about a wounded puppy on the side of the road.
When they finally arrived, mama dog was by his side crying out for help.
The dog was standing guard and looking out for her young one. But somehow, this clever mama knew rescuers were there to help her, so she put her complete trust in them.
Mama wanted to help but knew she couldn’t do it on her own.
The rescuers picked the pup up, and when he cried out in pain, Mama cried too.
Papa dog was also worried and rushed to see what was going on. Animal Aid Inlimited carefully transferred the tiny pup one to their vehicle, to take him back to the hospital.
Mama dog didn’t stop trying desperately to communicate as rescuers gently lifted her puppy into the ambulance.
Unfortunately, the puppy had two deep puncture wounds on his shoulders. The wounds could be life-threatening if he did not receive care.
The little pup was a very brave boy through it all but he needed lots of rest, food, and love. After getting the help he needed, he desperately wanted to walk on his own, he just couldn’t. Not yet anyway.
”We weren’t sure if the nerve damage was permanent. But Toggle was comforted throughout the days of his healing, and while we fell in love with his incredibly sweet nature, we knew there was someone very important waiting for him back home”, Animal Aid Unlimited writes.
And now for their sweet reunion! This happy-ending story began as one of the saddest, when a mother dog cried out in anguish, seeming to beg us to help her badly wounded baby.

Hard to watch but happy ending. I warms my heart to see people in other countries love and protect defenseless animals like we do here in America.
