We all know and love Kenny Rogers as the country music legend he is. With more than 120 hits to his name and a place in the Country Music Hall of Fame, he has also found success as an actor and author.
But not a lot is know about his private life. In 1997 he married his fifth wife Wanda Miller. Seven years later the then 65 year old surprised fans with the news that he and his wife were expecting twins.
Kenny recently posted a rare family photo on his Instagram page with his two sons. At 15 years old they are all grown up and barely recognizable.
Kenny, who has three other children from his previous marriages, announced his farewell tour in 2015 with the view of spending more quality time with his twin boys Jordan and Justin.
The boys joined a then 76-year-old Kenny onstage at the North Georgia State Fair in 2014.
Now at 15 years old, his boys look all grown up and the 80-year-old is proving to be quite the family man.
It’s rare for Kenny to share much of his private life on social media but fans were treated to this family photo on his Instagram account.
The picture shows Kenny, Wanda, and their twins. The sons are taller than their father, and both look like they are starting to grow beards.
In 2006 Kenny Rogers teamed up with Carrie Underwood for a duet in honor of Dolly Parton being recognized by the Kennedy Center Honors.
Carrie and Kenny performed “Islands in the Stream.” The song, considered the most magnificent country duet of all time and written by the Bee Gees, was originally recorded and performed by Dolly and Kenny.
Watch the incredible performance in the video below and don’t forget to share with your friends and family.
