Just the simple art of ventriloquism is usually enough to impress most people. 14-year-old Darci Lynne is in a class of her own.
Her dolls are not only able to talk – they can also sing opera, as showcased in a performance that’s currently taking the internet by storm.
Two years ago, Darci Lynne went all the way and won America’s Got Talent.
The talented girl charmed the whole world with her skill. What was even more impressive was that at the time she was just 12-years-old.
Fortunately, she hasn’t been resting on her laurels since then. Darci’s show has been constantly evolving, and recently she was invited to participate in “America’s Got Talent: The Champions”.
This competition is a bit of a ‘winner meets winner’ affair, where former champions of the world’s various talent shows compete for the title of the ultimate talent.
Unsurprisingly, Darci stunned audiences and jury again this time around – and, together with her dolls, she made it to the final.
“All of the butterflies from the very first audition just came back, like, ten times worse,” said a jittery Darci Lynne, remembering her first audition for the AGT: Champions comeback season.
Italian opera in front of an astonished audience
In the first final week of the program, Darci would again show what an incredible talent she is.
This time, the girl had composed a number … where her doll Petunia sang Italian opera “O Mio Babbino Caro” in front of an astonished audience!
Whether or not it will be enough to win her the prestigious title remains to be seen.
That said, in only one day, the clip has received hundreds of thousands of views – and I completely understand why. She sings better as a doll than most people can hope to themselves!
