Duane Chapman said a tearful final farewell to his late wife Beth at the weekend, offering a touching eulogy where he begged to “wake up from a dream.”
Beth passed away last month, June 26, after a battle with cancer, sparking an outpour of tributes and well-wishes from all who knew her.
Duane and the rest of Beth’s family and friends gathered for a memorial this past Saturday, giving Beth a final send-off where they described her as an incredible woman.
Of all the eulogies, however, it was perhaps Duane’s himself that was the most touching. The Dog the Bounty Hunter star struggled to hold back the tears as he said: “I cannot believe that she’s gone.
“This is not possible; I want to wake up from a dream.”
The memorial service for Beth, which was open to the public, attracted a large number of people wishing to pay their respects. The service was also streamed online and has been watched by more than one million people.

Earlier this week, Duane revealed how he’d lost 17-pounds in the wake of his wife’s death. He also admitted that he’s struggling to sleep at night, having placed a pillow on Beth’s side of the bed.
Dog, we can’t imagine the pain and anguish you’re going through. We’re sending all our love and prayers in your direction in the hope that the Lord will give you the strength to endure.
