A stylist in Moscow, Russia had been asking her beloved grandmother to visit forever. For almost 20 years, she had tried to persuade her grandmother to come see her family, but to no avail.
Grandmother Shuraaa lives in Armenia and said “no” every time the question was asked. She was adamant that she didn’t want to travel to Russia.
But after all those years, she finally decided to visit her granddaughter — and it was totally worth it…
Goar Avetisyan lives in Moscow and works as a makeup artist and hair stylist. After 17 years, she finally managed to get her beloved Armenian grandmother to come to Russia for a visit.
When Shuraaa visited her granddaughter, she got an amazing makeover that thanks to the internet, has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people around the world. In a video that uploaded to social media, you can see how Shuraaa looks before the transformation with plain hair and very little make-up.
17 years is a long time to wait for a complete makeover, but it’s worth it when you see the results…
