For some newly married couples their first dance can often be nerve-racking if they’re not the most extrovert of people.
Everybody wonders what their chosen piece of music is, which in itself can be hard to agree on, and then watching their every move and facial expression.
And then there are those couples who just completely go for it and put on an awesome display.
Newlyweds Ada and Mateusz did just this. They even enlisted the help of a dance studio to help them choreograph their routine. The result had their guests screaming. See for yourself in the video below.
The couple surprised their guests with a dance performance to the famous Dirty Dancing theme song, “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life”.
It was choreographed by the Tomasz Berkowicz Dance Studio and was captured on camera by wedding videographer Beres Film.
Award-winning song
The song was the grand finale in the classic 1987 movie Dirty Dancing. Lead characters Johnny, played by the late, great Patrick Swayze and Baby, played by Jennifer Grey, come together to perform a dance routine which is still one of the most iconic dance scenes in a movie.
The song, sung by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, won a string of awards including a Grammy award.
Couple Ada and Mateusz worked hard, with the help of the Studio Tanca AT Dance Tomasz Berkowicz, to perform the final scene from the movie at their wedding.
Dressed in a short white dress for Ada and an all-black suit for Mateusz, the couple performed a perfectly choreographed routine to the delight of their guests.
