Powerful dance routine to “Hallelujah” has the crowd holding its breath

There are many different things that can move us from music, to poetry to musicals and even an awe-inspiring view.

For the people at the 2010 Los Angeles Showcase in Burbank, California, it was a performance by ice skater Taryn Jurgensen to the song “Hallelujah.”

While she gracefully twirls and twists on the ice, you can hear a pin drop, as if the whole crowd is holding its breath. It’s so moving.

The rendition of Leonard Cohen’s hit by Alexandra Burke begins to play and the skill at which she keeps it slow but mesmerizing is quite something.

It’s hard to believe that this skater, originally from Thailand and now living in New Orleans, Louisiana, was only 19 years old when she performed this incredible routine.

Not surprisingly she won the Funakoshi Trophy in the Los Angeles Showcase with this routine.

More than four million people have watched this performance which shows off her amazing skill beautifully. She makes it look so easy.

Watch if for yourself in the clip below and prepare to be amazed.

Talent like Taryn’s should be shared so more people know about this incredible ice-skater. Please share if you agree.
