Sandra Bullock is a Hollywood sweetheart. She has consistently appeared on our screens in some of our favorite movies and on the few occasions that she appears in an interview always comes across as the sweetest person.
But her life behind the camera hasn’t always been picture perfect and when she is interviewed, the topic always moves to her love life.
The Gravity star isn’t someone who likes to constantly flaunt her private life and has done well to keep a low profile but over the years it does appear that she hasn’t found true happiness with that one special person…until now.
Speaking in 1996, she spoke about how hard it is to find the right person.
“For a year I was by myself trying to date and I’m telling you dating was the worst experience I ever had,” she said. “I seem to have attracted everyone whose intentions were not the best. Just people who’s intentions were so not in tune morally with mine. They were nice people but they just weren’t suited for me and that’s hard because I seriously thought I’m never ever going to find anybody that will love me and just enjoy life.”
After her movie Love Potion No. 9, it seemed that she had found true love with fellow actor Tate Donovan. The two were together for two years and then it stopped.
Being the smart and sweet person that she is, Bullock never revealed what went wrong and instead said: “I adored Tate so much. It’s like they say, there’s one person in your life, and Tate and I are closer than any two people I’ve ever experienced in my life. There’s nobody that means more to me, and I know for a fact that I mean the most to him, in that certain way. I can’t explain why things worked out the way they did. We both know why it happened.”
Bullock also dated actors like Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Gosling before marrying Monster Garage star Jesse James.
However, just days after she won an Oscar for her role in Blind Side, everyone found out that James had been cheating on Bullock. The couple split and then Bullock revealed she had been in the process of adopting her son Louis.

Then in 2015 she adopted her daughter, Laila, but explains why she had to keep her children out of the limelight.
“When you adopt a child, there’s a placement period, and if something goes sideways, they have the right to take the child away. It’s a tenuous, strenuous six months,” she said.

When Bullock asked photographer Bryan Randall to take pictures with her and her kids in 2015, she didn’t bank of finding happiness after.
The two have been dating ever since and seem very happy together.

Sandra said that it’s great her kids, 5-year-old Laila and 8-year-old Louis. love him too. “He’s super kind. For the kids he’s sort of No. 1 and I’m No. 2,” she told InStyle.
“But I get it because he’s more fun and has better treats.”
I hope that this sweet star has finally found her soulmate and enjoys the happiness she deserves.
