Nothing screams “I love beer” like a beer belly. Nothing.
Of all the things that prove an outstanding dedication to beer, a bit of chub around the mid-drift has become perhaps most synonymous with those who like to knock back the amber nectar.
Whilst those with beer bellies might have been ridiculed once upon a time, they’re now widely celebrated for their efforts when it comes to partaking in the consumption of mankind’s greatest invention. So much so, in fact, that beer lovers can now openly strive to achieve the ‘perfect’ beer belly. Sometimes referred to as a ‘dad bod’, excess upon the stomach is accepted, appreciated and, moreover, revered in 2019.
So how does one achieve such an enviable physique? Well, fortunately, drinking a lot of beer tends to help. Sadly, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and guzzling down 20 cans won’t turn you into Beercules overnight.
For all those who remained determined, however, we now have a solution: the Dadbag.
Blending the beer belly and the fanny pack/bum bag, Dadbag provides you not only with an abdomen to be admired from near and far, but also with a practical solution when it comes to carrying things around with you at festivals and the like.
Why, we hear you ask?
Why the hell not!
There are six Dadbags to choose from, each presenting its own flavor and distinct message to the rest of the world.
It’s London-based art director Albert Pukies who created this marvellous monstrosity. He said Father’s Day was what gave him his inspiration.
Speaking to Lonely Planet, he said: “I thought that it could be funny to feel like a dad instantly with a strap-on belly.
“I obviously missed Father’s Day but I’m glad that it still worked.”
You can find the Dadbag at the website here, or through the Instagram page here.
