Husband gets wife's face tattooed on his arm, changes it to a demon woman after they divorce

Woman is furious after ex-husband transforms tattoo of her into demon woman

Tattoos are gradually becoming more accepted in society and it’s common to see people you would consider “normal” wearing visible tattoos at their jobs and in their daily lives. Chances are, someone you know has a tattoo and you don’t even realize it!

People get tattoos for a lot of different reasons, and sometimes, they get one to honor someone they love. However, it’s important to be cautious if you plan on getting a tattoo for your significant other that has their name or their likeness.

Not only is it considered bad luck by many, but if you do split up, you have that tattoo as a reminder for the rest of your life.

One man had a unique solution to the tattoo he had gotten of his wife while they were married…

While Tisha and Matt were married, Matt got a portrait tattoo of Tisha. At the time, she thought it was a sweet gesture. But their romance didn’t last forever and they split up after four and a half years.

Matt didn’t want to live the rest of his life with a tattoo of his ex-wife on his body. So, he came up with a solution.

Here’s the tattoo:

The cover-up

Matt decided that he could cover up the tattoo, so he hired an experienced tattoo artist. The result is a cover-up tattoo that Tisha believes transformed her into a demon. She says that the tattoo made their divorce, which was a difficult time in their lives, even more hurtful.

Matt argued that the new tattoo is not of a devil but of a legendary Japanese figure named Kiyohime. She’s a character in a story about a woman who falls in love with a monk but turns into a serpent when he tries to leave her.

It was a hard time

Matt’s side of the story is a little different. He wasn’t trying to get back at his wife, contrary to what she believes. He used the cover-up tattoo to deal with his own emotions while going through a very difficult time in his life.

“Every time I go through something, we continue the work,” Matt explains. “At the time, I was pissed off and mad. It was a hard time going through divorce.”

Whatever his motivations for changing the tattoo, Matt is the one who has to wear it for the rest of his life.
