It’s a sad state of affairs when a woman excitedly posts her engagement photos and then receives vile comments relating to her size.
Unfortunately, the prolific rise of social media has meant heartless people can post cruel comments on some posts, safe in the knowledge they can remain relatively anonymous.
In June 2016, an ecstatic Mzznaki Tetteh posted her engagement photos online to share her happy news with friends and family.
But they were met with some of the most heartless comments. However, the Ghanaian nurse was unfazed and had an inspirational response to all the haters, one which we can all learn from.
After Mzznaki posted her engagement shots with her fiancé Kojo Amoah on her Instagram page many users were quick to ridicule her size.
“I gotta hand it to him his arms are stronger than my last relationship,” one user wrote on Tumblr. Another comment read, “RIP that mans spine”.The many users who left cruel comments shaming her size meant the photos went viral.
But instead of focusing on the negativity, Mzznaki said she was grateful for all the compliments and well-wishes from users.
“Still confident … your rubbish comments ain’t ruining my happiness … thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes … am honored,” she wrote on Instagram.

Still focusing on the happiness in her life, this beautiful lady got the last laugh when she posted pictures of her wedding day marrying the love of her life.
“I just can’t imagine what I will do if I didn’t have you to hold my hands and look into my eyes to tell me as yours forever,” she wrote on social media about her husband. “Just wanna let u know that the flames of passion between us will never be extinguished.
“You are the reason why I smile and why our love thrives between miles.”
We teach all our kids that the best response to negativity is happiness and success and this inspirational lady is the perfect example of this.
