Young girl, 8, sits down at public piano – her playing attracts a crowd and makes her an internet sensation

I believe children should be exposed to as much different music as possible. It’s a great stress reliever and encourages them to express themselves through dance, singing and playing an instrument.

Even exposing babies in the womb to music has been shown to have a positive effect on the baby, not to mention a calming effect on the mother.

It can also boost creativity and confidence.

For one young lady her exposure to music must have happened at an early age because at just 8 years old she plays like an adult whose been practicing all their lives.

As you can see from the video below, she attracts a crowd, who are all stunned into silence by her talent.

Diane Lambiet is only 8 years old but sounds like a professional musician playing with an orchestra.

She doesn’t even have any sheet music in front of her, yet plays so naturally with perfect timing.

Her impressive piano playing skills stopped people in their tracks at a hospital in Belgium.

The talented pint-sized piano player decided to bring the beauty of her skill for all to hear and attracted quite the crowd.

She started her recital with Beyonce’s “Halo” and shortly after transitioned to a much tougher song Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.”

Then she played the beautiful theme tune to the movie Pirates of the Carribbean by Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer; which is stunning played on a piano.

The focus she has when she’s playing is a reflection of her talent in playing this instrument. She’s such a natural.

Not once was she distracted by the group of people gathered around her, some of them children her own age.
