Stop wasting time and energy cooking pasta in saucepan – there’s a better way

With pasta being the most popular meal time dish, and a particular favorite with kids, most parents find themselves cooking Italian style at least once a week, if not more.

Most of us are limited on time and some pastas, particularly spaghetti seem to take forever to prepare.

If you’re anything like me cooking pasta in a hurry often means the noodles are soggy and stuck together. It’s not the best base for a meal.

But I recently found this master class tip for a quicker way of cooking pasta with much better results and it all starts with a frying pan.

I always have to wait ages for the water to come to a boil in the saucepan before I throw the noodles in, but this new method gets rid of this stage completely.

Saves water, time and energy

If you replace the saucepan with a frying pan and don’t wait for the water to boil then you can save both water and time.

What I learned from the video below is that boiling water can cause the noodles to stick together so by throwing the spaghetti straight into cold water you can prevent this.

You’re even left with a small amount of pasta water that you can use to thicken sauces. I really wish I’d known about this sooner.

I can’t wait to try it out! Please share this with all your friends who love pasta and love time-saving cooking tips.
