Elvis and Lisa Marie’s haunting duet: Her newest song bringing everyone to tears

When Elvis Presley passed away in 1977 aged 42, his only child Lisa Marie was just nine years old.

Unfortunately for his daughter, Lisa Marie, it feels like yesterday.

For her, his tragic death left a huge hole and she recently revealed that she looked for her father’s guidance through a recent rough patch in her life.

During an interview on the British talk show “Lorraine,” Lisa Marie said that recently her memories with her father were at the forefront of her mind, more than four decades after his passing.

After a recent bad patch in her life when she struggled with addiction, the mother of four looked to her father for a helping hand.

“I wouldn’t say I talk to him. I just remember everything,” she said in the interview.

“I can sort of pull out of the files whatever memories I have and stuff like that. And occasionally ask for help. Which was the case with this record. I just felt like a hand came down to me, it felt like that a little bit.”

Now she’s releasing an emotional duet with her late father with his hit gospel song, “Where No One Stands Alone.”

This track was a way for her to feel closer to her father during a time in her life when she needed their relationship the most.

With the help of her late father, Lisa Marie was able to perform a duet that will go in Graceland history and the result is stunning.

Their voices blend perfectly; she’s clearly inherited his talent for singing.

So beautiful, but sad. How tragic that Lisa Marie never got the chance to really know her dad. Elvis had the most beautiful voice in the world. His daughter also sings well. The combination of both is amazing.

What a touching way to show her love and pay homage to her dad, The King of Rock “n” Roll!
