Isn’t it nice to watch children grow up to be adults and look more and more like their parents — or maybe their grandparents?
In the world of celebrities, there are many examples of sons and daughters who’ve grown up to be spitting images of their famous parents. This is an example of how genes are passed on — from grandma to dad and daughter!
The well-known actor and singer Antonio Banderas, 57, was married to actress Melanie Griffith for many years. Together they have a daughter named Stella Banderas — and today, she’s grown up to be a young woman. Stella also has a famous grandmother — the actress Tippi Hedren, who launched her amazing career with in a bunch of Alfred Hitchcock films in the early 1960s, including “The Birds” and “Marnie.”
Tippi Hedren captivated several generations of filmmakers with her amazing looks and magical radiance on the big screen.
Tippi’s daughter, Melanie Griffith, also looked like her famous mother when she was younger.

Here’s a picture of Tippi with Melanie and Melanie’s elder daughter, Dakota Johnson.
When Dakota was young, she looked exactly like her mother, Melanie, at that age.
Melanie married Antonio Banderas in 1996. They had a daughter the same year.
Stella and Dakota are half sisters! This is Stella today:
Banderas and Griffith were together for 18 years before applying for divorce in 2014.
Here’s a picture of Stella and her dad, Antonio Banderas.
Stella recently turned 21, and she’s really inherited the facial features and alluring eyes of her grandmother, Tippi.
Stella Banderas is the 21-year-old daughter of actors Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas, but she's inherited her grandmother's signature looks.
I’m sure Stella is going to have a bright future! But unlike her big sister, mom and dad, she has only been in movies as a child actor.
With so many great actors in the family, her career seems like it can only go in one direction, right?
But Stella might want to do something completely different and not follow into her family’s footsteps. Anyway, it’s nice to see her growing up and that she’s inherited the family genes!
Please wish Stella good luck on her journey, wherever it goes!
