Birthday boy sits alone waiting for friends to show up – then Chuck E. Cheese staff hatch a plan

Employee Taylor Inzinna told Inside Edition that she was so upset watching the situation.

“I immediately ran to the kitchen and was so upset. [His mom] was handling it so much better than I was. … She held it together and never let Evan know for a second she was upset, which I think was super awesome.”.

Taylor could not stand by and do nothing so hatched a plan and took to Facebook to explain what had happened, asking if anyone would be willing to donate a gift for the sweet four-year-old. She was amazed by the response.

“Within three to four days, I had about 13 gifts [for Evan],” she said.

Taylor then called the boy’s mother and asked her to bring her son back.

What happened next would melt even the hardest of hearts. The generous employee created a party that Evan deserved with a cake, presents, and a fun-filled party with people who truly cared about him.

“The day he came back in, seeing the smile on his face was everything I wanted. I had one goal that day and my goal was to make sure that he left happy. And he left going, ‘Oh my God, Mom, this is the best day ever,'” she said.
