Bride gets ready to read her vows – instead she reads her cheating fiancé’s texts

Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life.

But to get to that point can often involve a lot of organization, time, effort and money.

It can be a stressful time for a lot of people but we all know it’s worth it for that special day where you can publicly declare your love for each other.

But one bride had a heart-wrenching dilemma when she discovered the man she was about to marry wasn’t who she thought he was — the night before her wedding.

Bride-to-be Casey told The Whimn, that everything was in place for her special day. Some of her family and friends had flown far and wide to celebrate with her in Australia. But as she was enjoying a drink on the eve of her nuptials in a hotel room with girlfriends, her world came crashing down.

An anonymous text to her phone read: ”I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?”

‘This weekend. You and I’

A series of screenshots accompanied the message which Casey realized were from her fiancé to another woman.

”This weekend. You and I”, and ”I wish my GF had half the skills you do,” and ”I miss you so much,” were just some of the messages he had sent this other woman.

Casey was in a complete state of panic, unsure of how to handle the situation.

Tough decision

She spent the night unable to sleep, but by morning she had made up her mind, she was going ahead with the wedding.

As they stood at the altar, ready to read their vows, Casey made an announcement.

“There will be no wedding today,” Casey said.

“It seems Alex is not who I thought he was.”

Casey then read every single cheating message Alex had sent. Alex stormed out of the chapel, with his best man following and after Casey went ahead with the party, without her cheating ex.

But there was somewhat of a happy ending.

A guest at the wedding shared the story online and said that in the end, “everyone else attended and had a blast.”

What a brave bride Casey is to make this announcement so publicly.

At least now she can move on and find someone who truly appreciates her.
