Three armed robbers got more than they bargained for after breaking into a apartment only to met with gunshots.
The men were caught on camera walking up the stairs to the front door of the apartment in Neptune Beach, Florida.
As one starts using his body to get the door open the other two hang behind.
Three barges with his shoulder and the door is open and they all run in.
Just seconds later the footage shows them running back out of the apartment as five gunshots ring out, as published by the New York Post.
One of them even jumps over the balcony to escape the gunfire.
Police said one of the home invaders was shot in the chest and was being treated in hospital, local outlet WJXT reported.
The other two were still being sought as of April 15.
The male resident who fired the shots is not facing any charges.
