Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson surprises stunt double with gift that leaves him speechless

He’s the man that seems to have it all: A successful movie career that has catapulted him beyond even his WWE stardom, a beautiful girlfriend he’s clearly head over heels in love with, and three beautiful children. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, however, is also known for being … a genuinely nice guy.

The Hollywood superstar recently surprised his stunt double of 17 years – and cousin – with a present he really wasn’t expecting. Tanoai Reed was so shocked by The Rock’s generous gift that he welcomed it with tears.

Jonhson told Reed that he needed him for a behind-the-scenes interview, only to then surprise him with a custom pick-up truck!

Proving, yet again, that he is one of the nicest men in Hollywood, Johnson said this on social media: “Over the course of my career, my stunt double (and cousin) Tanoai Reed has broken multiple bones, severed tendons, torn ligaments & just been an overall dominating bad ass achieving several ‘Stuntman of the Year’ honors.

“All done with one goal in mind – deliver the best movie possible to the world.”

He continued: “I had this custom pickup truck delivered just in time to surprise him (he’s still recovering from a stunt injury) while we gave what he thought was going to be an interview about our careers together.

“Not only does Tanoai represent our family and my career with relentless commitment and passion. He also represents an entire Hollywood stunt community that is truly the backbone of our business.”

He finished with: “Love you uso [brother] and thank you for the blood, sweat, tears and years. We’re just getting started.

“Enjoy your new truck!”

His cousin was so shocked that he had to wipe a few tears away.
