Giant ship slides into water: seconds later, the incredible happens

The ship was called the “Greenland.” It was manufactured in the Netherlands for a company called JT Cement. And after its launch, the Greenland’s first commercial journey embarked for Rostock, Germany.

To get the Greenland in the water, two tugboats have to pull it down in the water.

The tugboats look comically small next to the gigantic ship, and at first, it doesn’t look like they’ll be able to move it at all.

But after a while, the Greenland finally begins to move, and slides slowly toward the water.

It looks dangerous, and for a second there, it even looks like it’s going to capsize. Luckily though, the massive ship soon rights itself.

The plunge then causes the huge ship to do something that I’m not sure everyone fully anticipated.

Take a look at the video below to see how the pros get a massive into the water for the first time. It’s really cool to see the ship right itself, even if for a second it looks like it might end really bad.

I wouldn’t have wanted to be too close to that launch! Share this video with your friends who might like to see something so awesome!
