Luke Perry suffers stroke – rushed to hospital

Tv-star Luke Perry suffered a massive stroke on Wednesday and is currently hospitalized, according to TMZ.com.

According to the site the paramedics responded to Luke’s home in Sherman Oaks around 9:40 AM.

The star was transported to a nearby hospital – his condition is uncertain, writes TMZ.

The 52-year-old is most famous for his role as Dylan in Beverly Hills 90210.

Luke Perry’s medical crisis coincidentally struck on the very same day Fox announced it will reboot the series.

Perry is the only one in the original cast that hasn’t signed on for a part in the reboot.

He played Dylan until 1995 and later returned for another stint on the show from 1998 until 2000.

Most recently, he has appeared on screens as Fred Andrews in the hit series Riverdale. He also appeared in the 1992 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the 1994 film 8 Seconds.

The actor has two children with his actress ex-wife Rachel Sharp, as well as another daughter.
