Mom comes up with decongestant remedy for her toddler and nobody can believe the results

Brianna decided to give her congested little boy a herbal bath using essential oils.

She said: “Soon all his mucus started coming out.”

Brianna was inundated with questions of how she did it, so further down the post she said she used a few drops each of peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil.

She added the drops to a warm bath and kept the door closed to trap in the steam.

She also tossed in “less than a handful each” of peppermint leaves, mullen flowers, elder flowers, and chamomile.

It should be noted that not all doctors recommend the use of essential oils for babies and toddlers. The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) warns: “Sometimes people think that if an ‘essential oil’ or other ingredient comes from a plant, it must be safe. But many plants contain materials that are toxic, irritating, or likely to cause allergic reactions when applied to the skin.”

Brianna only used a few drops and they were heavily diluted in her bath tub, causing only positive effects on her poor sick baby.

With more than 20,000 shares, it’s safe to say Brianna’s post has given many parents hope with some praising her for using a natural remedy.

Please share this story with all the parents of babies and toddlers you know. With the colder seasons around the corner, it could come in very useful.
