Opera-singing cab driver leaves everyone speechless when he sings this song

When Carlos De Antonis stepped onto the “America’s Got Talent” stage he seemed like a figure of fun.

He shook his head so his glasses fell back on his nose and beamed a huge smile at the judges.

Carlos tells judge Heidi Klum that he works as a cab driver in Miami and sings to all his passengers.

“One passenger told me I think you need to go to ‘America’s Got Talent’,” he said.

“And boom here you are,” Heidi said to laughs from the audience.

But Carlos would have the last laugh after an incredible performance that has the whole audience on their feet and not a dry eye in the house, including Carlos.

Carlos begins to sing “Nessun Dorma” from Puccini opera “Turandot,” made famous by the maginificent late Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti.

When Carlos sings everyone is left stunned by his performance. They can’t believe that this shy character who spends his days driving a cab can sing like this.

After the audience has finished cheering judge Howie Mandel is the first to praise the talented Carlos.

“Your character, you’re just so giving!” he said.

Then fellow judge Mel B says, “You sing with such passion! It comes right from the depth [of your soul] and you spread it all out!”
