Various media are reporting that Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan Markle, 36, have come forward with some very exciting news.
On May 19, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married in a lavish ceremony. The UK and the rest of the world participated in their celebration as it was broadcast to millions of television viewers. Shortly thereafter, they went on their honeymoon — and now they are back.
The world is meanwhile waiting for news of a potential baby on the way…
Prince Harry and Meghan to go on “tour”
Hello Magazine reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have “brilliant” news. They are about to go on their first “tour” abroad. This means that people outside of Britain can finally get a glimpse of the couple.
Harry and Meghan will begin their tour in Australia where they will be present during the Invictus Games in Sydney, a sporting event initiated by Prince Harry in which injured and ill soldiers and veterans can participate in various sports. It includes wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball and indoor rowing.
According to Hello Magazine, Prince Harry has expressed joy that Meghan has agreed to join him on such “work trips”.
“I am also incredibly grateful that the woman I am about to marry, Meghan, will be joining me in this work, of which she too is hugely excited to take part in.”
Married 19 May – silence after the wedding
On May 19, Harry and Meghan said “yes”, marrying in Windsor. It was later revealed that the first thing Harry said to Meghan when he saw her was: “You look amazing!”
A little earlier on their wedding day, Queen Elizabeth announced that the couple’s new titles would be Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Following the wedding, there has been mostly silence from the couple, so many are looking forward to seeing them back in the spotlight. And with their announced tour, that waiting will soon be over.
After visiting Australia, the couple will continue to Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and New Zealand.
“Want children soon”
Even though the good news this time does not include a so-called bundle of joy on the way, it may still be reality in the not so far future… Popular magazine Marie Claire has reported that the couple wants to have children “right away”.
Harry has said that he hopes he and Meghan will start a family in the near future. According to marieclaire.co.uk, a source who knows the couple told US Weekly: “Having children is definitely a priority.”
This is, of course, not yet confirmed by the British royal house. However, a British chief expert, Katie Nicholl, has confirmed that the rumors are true:
“My sources say that Prince Harry is especially very fond of the idea of forming a family shortly after the wedding.”
