Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, were on a Qantas Boeing 737 plane, which was carrying more than 100 people, including Kensington Palace staff and members of the press, when a scary situation occurred.

The flight was returning to Sydney from Tonga and about to land when the pilot discovered there was another plane on the runway that was moving slowly.

At the last second the pilot was forced to abort the landing to avoid a potential collision. No doubt everything happened very fast and it must have been a frightening experience for all on board.

Passengers got another harbor view

According to the Mirror flight captain Nigel Rosser announced that the two aircraft were “too close” and it wasn’t safe for the plane to land.

He joked to travelers: “You’ll get another great view of the harbor.”

After circling the area the captain’s second attempt to land was successful and the plane touched ground to the applause of those on board and a nod to the pilot’s skill from Harry, according to a witness.

We’re all very glad the royal couple and all those on board were in the very capable hands of such a professional. Please share with all the royal fans you know.
