This scandal is making animal lovers seethe: Jockey does the unimaginable and it’s caught on camera

Whether you compete with horses, ride as a hobby or just like watching these beautiful animals – you know that you should never lay your hands on a horse.

Nevertheless, it seems difficult for some to understand, so it seems that we need to continue to pay attention to this unacceptable behavior, even though it is painful to see.

Because if we just sit quietly and let it happen, then how can we stop animal abuse?

This example happened on Wednesday on the race track in Port Lincoln, Australia.

The camera caught how frustrated jockey Dylan Caboche tries to control horse “She’s Reneldasgirl”.

22-year-old apprentice rider Dylan Caboche seems to lose patience and all control when he can’t get the horse to do what he wants.

Suddenly he jumps down and directs a hard blow to the horse’s stomach – in front of shocked spectators.

The video was published by Brisbane 7 News and received thousands of angry replies. Federation Thoroughbred Racing S.A LimitedT responded by suspending Dylan for two weeks, until December 1.

But animal lovers are enraged by the decision. Members of “The coalition for the protection of race horses in Australia”, CPR, thinks the punishment is far too lenient and is demanding a permanent ban.

“You don’t get to punch a horse and get away with it.,” Ward Young, sokesman for the organisation, said in a statement.

“If jockeys can’t control their tempers, they don’t deserve to be on the racetrack. If this is what we see on race day, we can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes.”

The jockey explained his behaviour on Thursday, saying he had a “brain slip”.

”I understand what I did was completely unacceptable,” Dylan Caboche said to Channel 7.

“Striking a horse is obviously not the right way to go about things, it was a brain fade and shouldn’t have happened,”

The fact that he only got a two week suspension is a complete scandal in my book – personally I think he should have been banned for life!
