Bald men are more attractive, powerful and smarter, according to a study

We all know a man who stresses about losing his hair. It’s inevitable for so many men and yet so hard for some to accept.

According to the American Hair Loss Association, two-thirds of men will see their hair thinning by the time they hit 35 years old.

And by the time they reach 50 a staggering 85 percent will have experienced a noticeable amount of thinning.

But, according to a study bald men are viewed as more dominant than men with a full head of hair.

The Business Insider study concluded that bald men are seen as more successful as well as larger, stronger and more powerful too.

This isn’t surprising when action movies are often dominated by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Bruce Willis and Jason Statham, always playing the tough guys.

These Hollywood hunks do not let something as insignificant as hair loss get in the way of their success.

The research, conducted by scientist Albert E. Mannes at the University of Pennsylvania, involved 59 participants who were shown multiple photos of men, some with and some without hair.

Bald spots

“I’m not saying that shaving your head makes you successful, but it starts the conversation that you’ve done something active,” tech-entrepreneur Seth Godin told the Wall Street Journal.

According to a separate study carried out by the University of Saarland  guys with shaved heads are also seen as more intelligent and wiser. This may have something to do with them seeming older because they’re bald.

There is a catch with all this and that is bald spots are not included in this research as men with bald spots are seen as less attractive.
