Bonus tips: 3 other tricks that help strawberries last longer

  1. Keep the buds on your strawberries until you’re about to eat them. This will extend their shelf life.
  2. If you don’t immediately plan to eat your strawberries, buy berries that are greener and not as ripe. When you remove your strawberries from your fridge one or two days later, they should ready to eat.
  3. If you notice any bad berries in your carton or mold, be sure to remove them immediately. This prevents mold from spreading and destroying the rest of the batch!
