This house appears normal from the outside but take a look inside and prepare to be amazed

An interest in fantasy novels and all the adventure that goes with them inspired Oregon artist and house developer Ed Bemis to create his own home that would take him to another realm.

He made this possible in the foothills of Ashland and calls it Shining Hand Ranch. The door to this fantastical home Ed spent one and a half years carving and if you think that’s impressive wait until you see the pictures below of inside.

This dream home has eco-friendly features, is heated and cooled with the use of geothermal energy and has a solar heated pool.

The 8,881-square-foot property spans across 706-acres and is yours — if you $7.6 million to spare.

The house was created with help from multiple designers who all followed the theme of fantasy. You’ll see why when you see the pictures below — welcome to Shining Hand Ranch.

It took artist Ed Bemis to carve this very detailed door.

Step inside and the impressive wood carving continues as designers captured the illusion of a flowing stream in the maple and cherry floors.

The beautiful staircase was carved from manzanita branches – an indigenous tree.

Fire and ice dragons decorate the fireplace.

Native imagery decorates the house throughout.

Large windows provide breathtaking views over Mount Ashland, Taowhywee Point, Wagner Butte, Mount Shasta, and Pilot Rock.

The pool can be found in a separate building and is heated with geothermal energy.

Would you want to live in a house like this? We think it’s perfect for escaping reality.

It really is amazing how one artist has turned his fantasy into reality in such an awe-inspiring way.

Please share this amazing home with your friends and family and allow them to enjoy the wow factor!
