The Met Gala 2019: Céline Dion shows off super toned legs and skinny figure in a revealing bodysuit

From Princess Diana and Jackie Kennedy to Cher and Joan Rivers, the Met Gala has a long history of glamorous attendees.

The fundraising gala is one of a kind regarding social engagement for high-profile stars, as they have to match their outfits according to the required theme annually.

In 2017, Céline Dion attended the Met Gala for the very first time, and it was one of the greatest moments of her life.

The Canadian singer appeared in a black & silver gown by Atelier Versace, stunning on the blue & white carpet in NYC.

This year’s theme for the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibition and gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art was “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” inspired by a 1964 Susan Sontag essay.

Celine Dion told reporters that she didn’t fully understand the theme of the 2019 Met Gala, but that didn’t stop her from arriving in unforgettable fashion…

The Au Revoir hitmaker appeared on the red carpet wearing a champagne-colored bodysuit, embellished with silvery sequins in fish-scale patterns.

The dress let Céline Dion flaunt her toned legs and slim figure! Inspired by the Ziegfeld Follies, the dress took 3,000 hours for 52 master embroiderers to create and it weighed over 22 pounds.

“I don’t want to take it off,” Dion told reporters, according to The New York Times. “I want to sleep in it!”

She paired the flashy dress with T-strap heels, statement earrings and a spiky silver headpiece – a gold-tinted headgear by the milliner Noel Stewart.

The icon’s makeup was also cool! Matching the color range of the bodysuit, many thought that the high-profile singer looked younger and fresher.

According to Celine Dion,  the dress was inspired by previous appearances of other stars, though added a unique note to own Met Gala outfit in 2019.
