Meghan Markle has shared an adorable video of baby Archie giggling as she reads him a story and fans can’t get over how much he looks like dad Prince Harry.
The duchess read Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld’s hit baby book “Duck! Rabbit!” with the adorable Archie wriggling on her lap.
Glimpses of his first teeth can be seen as the birthday boy shows us all his cheeky grin and head of strawberry blonde hair and royal fans were quick to point out how much the one-year-old looks like his father.
The video, filmed by Prince Harry, was posted on the Save the Children U.K.’s page in support of the charity’s #SavewithStories campaign, which aims to raise funds for children and families struggling due to the coronavirus crisis.
Celebrities such as actors Jude Law, Dame Helen Mirren and Lily James have also posted recordings of themselves reading their favorite children’s stories to support the cause.
“As the world grapples with the coronavirus pandemic, children’s lives are being turned upside down. By donating to Save with Stories, you can support the most vulnerable families in the UK and around the world by helping to provide early learning packs, supermarket vouchers, essential household items and virus protection,” Save the Children shared.
In just a few hours hundreds of thousands of people had viewed it and flooded the post with Happy Birthday wishes.
The Queen and senior royals including Prince Charles and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also wished Archie a happy first birthday on Instagram.
Prince Harry and Meghan moved to California in March just days after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the country’s borders would be closing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The family are in lockdown in their Los Angeles home.
A royal expert said Harry and Meghan plan to treat Archie to an “organic, sugar-free cake”, a splash around in their pool and a video call with the Cambridge children as part of his birthday celebrations, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Please share to wish the very adorable Archie a very Happy 1st Birthday.
