I remember my high school talent show. I was always in awe of all of my classmates who had the nerve to get up on stage and perform in front of everyone.
Personally, there’s no way I ever would have dared to get up on stage and dance at that age….especially not with my mom!
That’s what makes this mother-son ‘History of Dance’ routine extra special!

Mom Ginny Jenkins is a guidance counselor at Myers Park High School. When the school held a talent show last week, she was eager to show off her impressive moves. Not only that, she brought her son Scott in on the action!
“I conned my son, who also likes to dance as much as I do, into dancing with me,” Ginny tells WCNC. “What you saw was nothing out of the ordinary.”
They performed to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which funds breast cancer research.
